I know that someone posted a really good link to telling the differences between them but I can't find it. So, knowing how we all like to see pictures on here, I decided to just post pictures of my two girls and see what you think they are?

The first one:

And the second one:

Thanks for your help.

I am certainly not the police, but I would say EE as well. The first one looks just like one of the EE's that I have. My DH named her "Lady Hawk".

They are beautiful! Are you getting eggs from them yet?

No eggs yet, they are just 4 months old. I'm really, really, really hoping for green or bluish eggs.

Funny, my husband named the second one "Hawk".. that's his chicken.

So, why do the hatcherys sell them as Ameraucana's but they are always EE's?

One of ours lays a bluish egg and the other a greenish egg. They are beautiful! I regularly have people ask me if the yolk will be green or blue. It is very hard to keep a straight face...

I don't know why they say they are Ameraucana. I didn't know mine were EE's until I found this site. It just doesn't seem right.
