Hello all,
We just got an older Ameraucana roo. We really weren't intending to hatch anything, but he's so charismatic and such a good rooster we'd like to get some babies from him. We have 4 brown egg layers ranging from light creme to dark caramel, and 1 EE that lays light turquoise. I know with the EE we'd get the same or blue eggers, but would the other ladies produce olive eggers? Or do the hens have to be a very dark chocolate egger to get true olive eggers from this cross? Thank you!
