Think this four month old ameraucana is a true ameraucana roo?

Looks promising with the beard and muffs. Whether off not here is pure, he sure is beautiful.if you got him from a hatchery he's probably not pure.

Can you post a shot of his comb? And what color are the bottoms of his feet?

Definitely will get more pics of the aforementioned parts tomorrow after work.I got him locally from a poultry enthusiast in FL.

Hey guys, I was able to snap a pic of his comb (not so great, sorry). Does this help identify if he's pure or a mutt? My words still trip me up when it comes to poultry lingo, so if I said anything erroneous about the comb, my apologies.
Either way, I love him to pieces already. Very sweet and predictable.

That looks like a very funky sort of comb. It's more like a pea comb than anything else, it certainly isn't a single comb. What color are the bottoms of his feet?

I'll post pics tomorrow of his feet. I carried him around for a bit today, but didn't want to stress him out too much. Funky bad, or funky OK?

I did some additional reading about the breed due to my blatant ignorance and read it these guys typically have pea combs (if I read correctly).

He's my first "fancier" breed of poultry if you will, so it's certainly a learning curve (for that matter, also my first roo).

I'm hoping I don't have any surprise roos mixed in with my Australorp bunch that's around 12 days. I'll post some pictures in the next couple of weeks to get a consensus.
