But this was not chipmunk like.I agree with the others. She's looking like a pullet so far.
As for the color change question, its pretty common for a chick to start out one color and look completely different when they start to feather out. White chickens often start out yellow. Brown chipmunk coloring is common EE chick color but they'll look different as they grow.
With that coloration she wouldn't have chipmunk colored baby fuzz, completely regardless of the breed. Unfortunately you got scammed by the feed storeBut this was not chipmunk like.

The chick down doesn’t matter. She’s an Easter Egger and feed stores are often wrong. Hopefully she’ll still lay colored eggs!
