Ameraucana sexing....

They are about 3 1/2-4 weeks of age.

We have 3 Ameraucanas (I am aware that they aren't "real" Ameraucanas), and I am pretty sure that they are one male and two females. Here is a pic of the male(?) on the left, and the female(?) on the right.

I don't know how you're able to tell the difference in gender! Mine are 11 weeks old and I can't tell! We're supposed to butcher on Saturday, but I might have to skip the Ameraucana. (There are too many to send pictures) What checking feathers?

I have an observance (which may or may not mean a thing!) Seems like most of mine (which I THINK are roosters) have a triple row of combs, with the center being taller. The "hens" have a single, very small comb. Does that make sense?
 
See? That picture that Coopdelsie posted has those three rows- kinda hard to see, but they are there. I hope we're right- they getting murdered on Friday on that basis.
