Ameraucana vs araucana?

okay, so here are pictures of my only roo and two of the EEs. Maybe both show muffs and not tufts as I originally surmised?

Here's a good pic showing the tufts--they're like little wings out the sides of the face. Your birds are all bearded/muffed Easter eggers, so you can breed them as you like and not have any genetic issues

I love your rooster's beard--that's my favorite coloring, the lighter head and hackles with that big ol black beard!

Okay, I thought I had a pic of tufts, but it vanished when I posted. Google tufted araucana and you can see the real tufts. All the images aren't correct, some are just Easter eggers with muffs.

Thank you for clearing this up. I am just under one year learning about chickens and very grateful for this forum!

Duke is a rather handsome fellow, very low key and not aggressive. He won't even defend his hens from guinea attacks!
