Hi there! I purchased this guy (was sold to me as a girl) from Ideal Poultry in Texas. After researching roosters and their feather color variations, I noticed my guy does not look like the accepted colors. His tail feathers are a black/green. Anyone know if he was crossed with another breed? I am trying to find a home for him, and I would like to advertise his breeding properly. If anyone is interested, he is free to a good home and I will deliver him around the Dallas area.

He is an easter egger. There is no telling what he is crossed with especially since you got him from a hatchery.

I have one who look a lot like yours only younger from Ideal , just sell him as an Easter Egger.
