American Bresse

[Plucky Clucks]

I have an American Bresse hen that I hatch from an egg back in mind March. I don't know much about the breed and I was wondering if anyone had any experience raising them that had any helpful info. She hasn't started laying yet but her comb is pretty red. She's by far the largest hen I've ever owned, she out weighs my older Welsummer rooster by a good margin!

Ok I bit the bullet so to speak and ordered 25 of the white bresse from bresse farms in ms. They are set to arrive here the week of Oct 23rd.... I am starting to get excited
