American Chicken Breeds

Hello are there any breeds that were developed in the United States? or is that what the heritage breeds are?

Heritage breeds are breeds accepted to the APA before the 60's, and in most definitions, bred to the standard.



Most heritage breeds are but not all. Breeds like Buckeyes, Rocks, New Hampshires, Rhode Island Reds, Wyandottes - American.
