Crazy how two birds the same age can progress in different areas faster than one another. Darn roosters

Sorry, they are both cockerels because they have pointed saddle and hackle feathers which hens never have. Also, I don't think your birds are American Game because they are too muscular and thick and also have muffs. Since one has a pea comb and they both have muffs, they are Easter Egger cockerels.
