American Gamefowl

My grandad had a ‘77 Chevy pickup, he raised cattle, hauled wood, hay, grandkids and everything else with it and then in 1998 he bought a new one..

he passed away this year at age 99 and that ‘98 had been garaged it’s whole life, had almost no miles on it, and looked brand new inside and out, so it really drew the eye because you just don’t see one of that era in that good of shape...

I was sitting with him this spring before he passed and he was talking about how everybody made a fuss about that ‘98... he said something like “it might be a good one? I couldn’t say, it never got used... now that ‘77 though, that one was for damn sure... ”

to me that’s where the truth is. How do you know what you have it hasn’t been tested...

Goes for people too... there’s a lot of people that you can tell from their words that they’ve never tested them selves...

dude. That was some deep stuff for a GF thread.

I don’t even have any parents left alive let alone grandparents.
My grandpop on my moms side was great. One day not long before he died we were driving by this lighting store that was all glass filled with all sorts of lamps, and chandeliers etc.. He says out of the blue one day before I die I’d like to drive my car right through the front of the that place and smash everything. Totally out of character for him. Hilarious!
