Yep. I don’t mind. Trapping season opens Nov 15th. Can’t trap mink til Dec 1st where I’m at though. Fur isn’t prime til then anyway. The best month to trap here is December. Everything should have good fur.

There’s not enough people that spend time outdoors as it is. The more people that actually spend time doing outdoor related activities the better. People nowadays are pretty pathetic in my opinion. Grown ass men that are afraid of a fox or coyote hell even the woods at night. Its too cold, too wet, too dark etc.. Hunting isn’t worth the effort, can’t identify a single damn tree. Can’t catch a raccoon. Lose all their birds to something then cry themselves to sleep after talking about their feelings. It’s all too much. Lol

What age do you guys find that the hen will usually wean the chicks?
My hen weaned her chicks at 6 weeks and went broody. She had run off the cockerels 2 weeks before she weaned the pullet chicks.
