Best thing is old mining belt but it’s kind of hard to get any when I’m laid off and at the house lol

It’s lasts a long time too and it doesn’t rip or tear easy

Have you had birds in domes before? How do you attach it without it tearing?

Some of these tarps last a good long while. While others do not. This past spring we had a hell of a storm rain and crazy hail I hadn't put all new tarps on a few days before and had to redo most of them. Same day I almost lost a ton of chicks to drowning.

I staple it to the 2x4s on one side and stretch it tight over it staple it to the other side then zips tie it around the wire don’t cut it with a knife use a butane torch so it don’t frey

Old belt works amazing tho just get some roofing nails and nail it on both sides then put a 2x4 or 2x2 in the middle top of the dome and screw or to the belt it won’t go anywhere the wire will rot away before the belt does works awesome

The thing with old belt or rubber it helps weigh it down without collapsing the cage and does a great job in high winds that’s what the old man always used and they never blew away
