Yes they are but seems so are those hens.
Been watching since last fall and only ones I ever see are out of my budget.
I hear there's a guy not too far from me that raises them. You might of heard of him.

I’d rather cut off my leg and beat myself to death with it than mess with that clown. I don’t have many eggs right now but I will within the next few weeks. I’ll send you some if you want them. I’ve never shipped chicks just adult birds.

Salvaged 7 eggs and penned her with the eggs. No way I was getting her in a crate so there she sits. Possum got 5. Killing season opens tomorrow. She was unharmed aside from some tail feathers missing from me grabbing her in the dark. She was scared to death.
