Any luck on teaching the pup to tree

I haven't really done any real training with him. But I don't think he'd need much training...besides learning not to tree trash. I'm too scared to turn him loose anywhere to actually see what he could do. He's so fast he could get a long ways away from me in a hurry. I don't want him to find a bogeyman or get ran over crossing a road. When he gets on a scent he does not think about or pay attention to anything else.
He trees squirrels for me.
He had a raccoon "treed" on the fence late one night. But I can't use a real gun in town so it got away. He was real mad at me. Lol.
Last night he found a young little opossum somewhere in the yard and kilt it. He's a pretty good varmint dog.

U need a good tracking collar for him lol. At least he's earning his keep. Good looking pup though

Yes, I would like to get one. I'd love to take him out and watch him go to work. I take him out for walks at our other place and sometimes he will get on the trail of something and I'll let him lead the way until it goes off our property and we can't go any farther. Usually when I stop him he will look off the direction He wants to go and bay. Then he gives me a disgusted look like.. really? We're gonna stop now?

Update the pumpkin/kelso crosses are coming along well hatch day should be June 5th I hope. I candles them today and there looking good.

Hopefully she’s decided to sit full time she’s been off and on but I think the weather being real hot and humid has helped Defiantly seen movement and growth Hopefully they hatch. We will see re candle on June 1st

If she’s sitting on them quit candling and screwing around with them. Hens know better than you do. The more you mess with them the likelihood of them not hatching increases. Just let her do her thing.
