I had a cord burn up from my electric fence during a storm. You’re right it is always something. Had a branch come down on the wire.

Just got one of mine up yesterday I did have that happen last winter ol weather doesn’t care at all lol.

That’s a plus man! mines sure took a beating! Yeah not really it’s too flipping cold to be messing with this junk. Got all the birds strawed at least that went well bahaha.

Someone who's name starts with an S didn't take the nozzles off the garden hoses yesterday before it froze up last night.
Whoops.
I am not looking forward to hauling water jugs and breaking ice in the mornings.

I break 3-4 a year doing the same thing. It’s getting ridiculous. I go through just as many hoses too. I have a heavy duty hose but the damn thing weighs about 100 lbs.
I haul jugs every day it’s free exercise. 3 gallons in each hand and three trips gets it done. Sometimes the dog brings em back for me in about 40 pieces.

When the hose pops a leak the ducks find it and make a mud pit to play in which just makes it that much worse.

The old man gets tired of replacing them for me. I keep telling him to buy the cheap ones cuz I'm going to ruin them anyway.
