Yea ofc, okay so here’s the deal when cocks are scared they flare the top part of their neck and head when they are scared of another bird and or human he was fine when I put him in his cage he got all pale his feathers were up he wants to like get out and I’m not sure wh since he was raised there for 2 years what could he be afraid of ? He has never acted like thisNo idea what you’re talking about. Can you explain it again differently?
He’s almost done with molt he just doesn’t wanna be in that cage he is like terrified Inter close and he does not want me there and he is a very docile bird like very manageable he will let you touch but now he won’tSeems like he’s hacking up when put in a cage.... like molt hack some talk about. That’s what I got out of all that.
Lol I’m aware how cocks act when they’re scared.Yea ofc, okay so here’s the deal when cocks are scared they flare the top part of their neck and head when they are scared of another bird and or human he was fine when I put him in his cage he got all pale his feathers were up he wants to like get out and I’m not sure wh since he was raised there for 2 years what could he be afraid of ? Lol okay I just thought it wasn’t so common ,I am grabbing him and he seems to calm down when he is in my arms, and he was a stag like 7monthe old and I raised him to maturity there it’s quite big for one cock if you put hen it’s crowded ofc depending on their sizes but I guess maybe you are right because where he was,was an old house for breedingLol I’m aware how cocks act when they’re scared.
No idea why he’s acting that way toward you. Just keep handing him and see if he snaps out of it.
Did you raise him there for 2 yrs in that little wire bottom cage and then put him somewhere else for awhile? Now he’s acting scared of you while in there again? Could be he had more room in the last location but now he’s even more confined and feels trapped.
