I'm midwest, our laid back is a bit more horizontal then other places.

Apparently its a little different. My dad was from Texas if that makes any difference or helps me fit in better.

Hello Chaps, Chapesses.
I'll keep it short.
I've been offered a pair, male and female, of Ghan Reza Asil.
They are three years old, in excellent health and come from a 'fighting' parentage.
An old man on the next mountain used to breed them and recently died. His son is trying to home the fowl he left behind.
I have free range chickens here already.
What do I need to know?

You would most likely have to keep the males penned separately and prevent any other loose males from approaching their pens.

That really depends on the individual bird but if they get too close both roosters may kick the pen and the game rooster surely will wreck his feet at the very least.

Oh come on. Jersey isn’t that bad. I mean the winters suck, we have 3 weeks of spring temperature if we’re lucky, and then it’s summer until late September.
