Damn man, glad all are well

Tree didn’t have too far to fall but still annoying as hell. Wind was really ripping. Think we had just over 70mph gusts.

Oh I’ve had trees fall on my fences and all but most of my pens are smack in the middle of the yard which prevents trees but leaves them susceptible to the wind. It’s a trade off I guess.

Your yard looks nice what I’ve seen of it. That’s the problem with mine it doesn’t have much of a wind barrier and way to open to aerial predators but it’s convenient

Y’all got any pics of your breeding pens I’m gonna build some new ones and need some ideas I thought about makin 8x8 hoop coops out of cattle panels but I’d like to see what every one else has

I just use one of the ibc pens or a dome pen, after the hen starts to set I pull the rooster out so I can spread the nesting hens pens further away from each other
