She’s a wh/kelso over black. I just stuck two eggs under a hen. Got 2 pullets. The other one looks like a straight black.

i like that dog he got a black nose!what that chicken that got the white fingernail she nice chicken! my striped chicken got yellow legs he fingernails dont look like that! i like all these chickens i wish mom let me have some that look like that

Expanded my electric fence today and got it all tightened up looks much better and i have a shit load more room now. Tore down where we had our layers so I had a little bit of wire figured I’d give one of the Mexican style pens a go didn’t turn out to bad I don’t guess. Defiantly a little more involved than domes.

Yeah I like my dome pens. I plan on building a few more of these but I’m gonna build about 12 more domes or so.

I do see the benefit of a little more room. The domes start to slope and narrow toward the top so the birds have a little more wing flapping room in a pen like that.

I made this one 3x3x4’ high. Used a little less wire than the domes. Only thing I like better about it is the roosts can be a little higher than the domes and you don’t have to worry about changing the tarp I may build a few more with this old wire I have just for shits and giggles

I’ve got a lot to build sitting here thinking about it lol I gotta build a bunch more dome pens use what metal roofing I have left and build a few more like the one I built today and some brood pens. Maybe someday I won’t have to build anymore lol
