The only feed I’ve ever seen above another is the 22% SS feed how much above idk exactly but I was lead on to it and fed it until I couldn’t.

You gotta feed what you can. The feed doesn’t necessarily make the bird of course different birds require different amounts but that’s on you too check em. During the late fall into winter I feed a bit heavy nowadays and up the corn. Theirs people that get crazy with it but 10/10 the bird makes the difference aslong as he has good care behind him.

With the winters we have lately I rarely change my feed up, if it gets below freezing for more than a week then I will but honestly our winter it barely gets out of the 40s for longer than a month. I like the way my birds feel on it and they seem to grow pretty healthy and hold a good weight with it

That’s a nice feed, but So many different ways to skin a cat. I will say this and others can attest to it that feed pellets as their main source the birds I got from them and the birds I have let go feel and act like they supposed too.
I tried to get fancy years ago mixing myself and it may have made me feel better, but I never noticed a real change in the birds and some if any were negative. Like I said a few post back when I quoted Rock I live in the mountains of NC and nearest place is belle farms over an hour and a half away and only way to justify such is to probably buy in bulk which I don’t feel like would make or break the birds just my wallet lol. In the end do what works for you that goes for anybody.

It’s roofing underlayment. You can buy the rolls of it for 69 bucks at Lowe’s I think there’s 200ft on a roll I use it on my domes it’s held up for almost a year.

When I have to replace the silt fence material on my ibc pens im going to give that stuff a go, good idea man

It’s worked well for me man. I usually just nail it if I go all the way around like the pen I’m the pic of use the cage clips to fasten it on the domes.

Looks great man. What was the size on it again?

4x8x4’ high. It’s just a brood pen to use to single mate. I’ve got around 50 bucks in the lumber and roofing.
