American Gamefowl

Mine are what..,"nephews" to your Black.

This one of yours I like that deep red (burgundy?) color. They can get a little persnickety for sure. If too much of an a-hole I'd cull him :D
Yeah I think that’s what he’s be lol I’m gonna grow him out I do like him he looks and feels awesome he’s solid it’s probably a lot to do with me not handling him much. if he don’t straighten up he’ll get to test my new axe lol

Both look really good. I agree it's crazy what variety can come from way back in its bloodline
I could care less but the kids are definitely disappointed. We keep getting the cold and rain to keep everything messy but it is what it is. Birds seem to be doing great, the free range hens are still being harassed by a few hawks but everyone seem to do fine avoiding them
Thanks Billy!

I bet the kids were looking forward to some snow:( We are probably in for it sometime and we'll wish we didn't get it. I'd rather not have to deal with it but it is pretty.
Glad they are avoiding the hawks, those things are persistent.

I'm glad it wasn't your heart! Stinks about the arthritis though.
Hopefully things will change and you will be able to get in with a Doc that can help you manage those symptoms.

Thanks! I really like these Gals, they are chatty LOL

Yeah well is what it is I reckon all’s they could do is dope me up with steroid shots until I can get an appointment. I take gabepetien 300mg a day 4 times a day anyhow so that eases it up some and 600mg ibuprofen every 6hours until I can see a “family” doctor. It was no joke when it was just in my hands.

Forgot this one earlier. I don’t do a lot of picture taking these days.

But all the ladies love him.

Good to know your heart wasn’t the problem, sucks about the pinched nerves and the hands. Hopefully soon they can get you some actual pain relief

Ive dealt with the hands for awhile now one day while doing bodywork they just locked up couldn’t even tie my boots, I can’t use them like before but manageable. The arthritis in my back I didn’t have a clue about until the CT scan. Basically those nerves tensed up and caused tingling, numbness and shooting pain all over from just being pinched. The doctors office we faxed my paper work into supposed to call Monday hopefully and appointment follows soon.
