That right there is a reason to only use heavily waxed cage traps, draped carefully with scent away towelettes ... thank you for posting this important public service announcement to inform us all of the dangers

Thank goodness for the experts on BYC or I’d likely be knee deep in a $300 bear trap that someone set for a raccoon, myself

I’ve caught this possum 5 times now. 3 different cages. He ain’t too bright. I haven’t even baited or lured them in 2 weeks. Captain sparkles lures and baits are long lasting!!

Lol. I agree. I was gonna tell him he was getting better but after the use of plausible I determined it wasn’t him it’s someone else commenting in his place.
