Nah it’s just an accident. Occasionally they’ll run across the street to the strip of grass before the woods after bugs. I have to mow it to keep them from doing it. Lol

There were some meth heads that lived on the highway here locally. . had chickens running loose all over the place. They were always getting flattened on the road.
They got themselves a big piece of plywood and spray painted a sign and put it out by the highway.
PLEASE DO NOT HIT CHICKENS
That lasted about 3days before someone painted over it to say PLEASE DO HIT CHICKENS.

There is the one place on my way to work that I swear they lose every bird they have every single year smushed in the road.
They have a tiny yard so the guineas, ducks, chickens all just wander around on a busy road. Total idiots.
That place looks like it could be a hoarding situation anyway.

Sounds like my neighbor but he just gives a varmint buffet. Then they come looking at mine when they have ate em all. I got news for em these are a pricey meal.

Speaking of... I had a couple thumpers show up at the door the other day. Doberman going nuts! “Is this a bad time?” Yeah as a matter of fact it will always be a bad time.
Pretty sure they took one look at me and said we don’t want this guy anyway.
