I’m pretty sure it’s rare but I watched that show “monsters inside me” a few years ago and a little boy got leprosy from getting its blood on him after him and his brother killed it. I sure as hell ain’t touching them! That kid was totally disfigured for life.Ya, what Ozark said. Mainly. They are just hard on the landscape. I don't *think* they would bother the birds other than they scare the hello out of them. They are just more a nuisance than anything and they are said to carry leprosy, I don't know if that is true but I sure don't wanna find out. . or have my dogs get scratched or bitten.
