I know what you’re thinking. How is that worth it? I could just buy the duck already plucked. The problem is I would be missing out on getting very little sleep, speeding down the highway dodging deer at 4 am and feeling the rush of cold water on my peaches since my waders leak pretty bad! That’s living!

I’ve got like 7-8 dozen decoys, a bunch of geese, couple small duck boats and all kinds of random waterfowl hunting gear. It’s crazy I know. I may not be the smartest but I’m damn sure dedicated.

I’ve shot two ducks with one shot a few times. Every time it was wood ducks too. I’ve also shot the same damn duck 3 times then had to chase him down and shoot him again. Thanks to the sh*tty steel shot regs.

Kid shot a little spike buck with the bow the other evening.. Broke the arrow and took off. It got dark on him and he had to drive back to town for flashlights and go back out to track it in the dark.
Totally worth it right?

I once pulled my canoe up to shore on a windy day in the salt marsh. I went up to the truck and took my waders off. Guess what? The damn canoe floated away with al my gear! 20 degrees and I had to swim to get it. I won’t make that mistake again. Nobody wants to hunt with me?
