Not a “fan” anymore than I was of muzzys when I used them... I take a 30 yard shot max... most are closer to or under 20...

I don’t force bad angles, and I have a high degree of confidence in my ability to “get him next time” if I have to let him walk...

Basically to me a head is a head... it’s the shot that counts the most... almost anything on the market these days should do the job for the shots I take

I agree. They all shoot pretty straight as long as the bow is tuned right. I use Magnus, VPA and Ace. I don’t particularly have any issues with mechanicals but there’s no way I’m shooting one from a longbow. Lol

Dang yard deer won’t let me get out and water the birds… I’ve got three in the front and two in the back...

Is okay to let layers eat snow for water or is that only gamefowl

How cold was it? No school for the cold? What a bunch of sissies.

We did have some ice on the roads in places but I didn't hear anyone complain about that.
I don't know for sure how cold it was early this morning but my car said it was 12 degrees at when I went to lunch.
I don't even have heat in my car right now. . I had to go out and water critters. .break ice put the pup out. . and try to get my windshield uncovered without heat. .and I was fine. I could've probably walked to work and got there faster than the time it took to scrape off the windshield.

I drove a Jeep Wrangler for 15 yrs with no heat. The blower fuse kept going on it with a few days of replacing it. So I quit. I’ll tell you what after that long of no heat it’s nice to have it in the morning. Lol
The worst was after duck hunting freezing my *ss of and not actually warming up until I got home at least an hour later. I would usually just curl up in the fetal position in front of the wood stove. Lol

We don’t turn the heat on in the evenings because when my mother was growing up her father never put the heat on at night. He just gave them another blanket. When it’s really cold I sleep with socks on. The coldest I ever woke up to was 55°F.

The fish tanks were heated and the parakeets and guinea pigs got their cages covered, but it’s definitely a possibility.

I slept in a Honda Accord dead of winter for over a month you'll be alright.
