I have to agree with @hillbilly91 good grief, we went from 65F on Monday to c.o.l.d LOL Yesterday the wind was the worst. 15F last night but calm so not tooo bad.
Should be in the 40s today, sun is shining and NOT windy

I would like an electric one LOL I have asked the Hubs to build me one, but...he hasn't done it (yet). Likely I would electrocute myself though

Oh, Like anybody really cares (LOL) I do trap the occasional rat. Those large wood Victor traps work fairly well. I have some plastic and metal ones too. This is where it gets a bit interesting(?) The cream colored plastic ones, I will catch something, black is a nope. Same with metal - the "metal" color I catch something, but black nope. Sooo...I wonder if they can see the black and don't like it? All I know is the metal one, goodness, you keep your fingers out of those LOL

One time I went to a friends house. . she had gotten the living room so hot with the wood stove it was about 100 in there. .
Instead of just opening a window. . .
She had turned on the air conditioner.

I've had to open windows or doors a few times, never thought about the A/C though!

Yeah my back door is 4 ft from the wood stove. If it gets too hot I just crack the door simple fix. The only issue I have with that is the damn dog ran through the screen awhile ago and I haven’t fixed it yet so now the retarded cat that’s been whooped by one too many roosters tries to come on in to see what’s shakin.

We had a dang heat wave today!...

....at least compared to our low of 9 degrees last night

It was 44 in the chicken coop just now... the hens were begging for some snow to eat, to cool back down
