Nope. I would never rely on a dog to keep my chickens safe. Besides I don’t keep dogs outside.

These aren’t the kinda dogs I could just leave outside anyway. They’ll cause all kinds of problems. You can find all kinds of videos online of Dutch shepherds and malinois climbing tall fences with ease.

I keep threatening to just get a good set of clippers...guess I just need to do it
