That's looks good. I haven't mowed in about 3 weeks and with 12 out of 13 days with at least some rain I'm now gonna have to buy a new mower just to mow enough to find the old one.

Ok moonshiner I gotsta ask... how do you keep those long eared silkies with just a brushpile and that John Deere coop and have nothing turn them into piles of varmint poo?

And how do you keep them from digging out?

They're not contained what so ever. They will go through the fences as they please. And can cover all my property or leave. I don't do anything to keep them safe from predators except giving them places to hide. We have three brush piles put up and since I'm a redneck plenty of other places to seek shelter.
I went to an auction once to see about getting some and they had tons. By the end when I started bidding they were throwing several together and they were selling for a $1 or less. I have family that would eat them so I ended dragging a few dozen home.
Of course I wasn't prepared for that many so I threw them in a huge grow out pen I have that is 6' chain link. Deciding to sort through in a couple days for what I wanted and send the rest off. Well of course they can dig and by the second day they had all escaped.
I tried rounding them up but that didn't work so well so they became my free range rabbits. I've had them for years now and expect several have moved on and several have been eaten.
But well they breed like rabbits so they continue on. There's been times I've trapped some and got rid of them and a time I tried to trap them all and get rid of them. We were down to two that I knew of in the winter but a couple months later there were 25 or 30 out there again.
Idk they just do their own thing and I do mine.
They are fascinating to watch sometimes. One thing is everyone says rabbits want to live alone and they are not social. These have always been social and live in groups. Often the groups come together in the evenings and you can see them playing together. They seem to be very social to me.

How do you wipe down their legs? The zip tie doesn’t get in the way?
I changed over to wing bangs.

It’s just a zip tie it’s not really in the way? I use my hands to wipe them down anyway. That’s why I have such beautiful hands.
