I just realized looking at it that each of those pages was hand drawn and lettered as opposed to the text being laid out on a type press.... they certainly don’t do it like that anymore ... I also realized I’ve never crawled on my hands and knees in hip waders, lol

I've got some old hunting books done the same way somewhere I'd take that over new and yeah me neither never stalked a fish.

I have stalked plenty of fish. Usually it end up the same as deer. With them going the other way and me throwing a fit.
Spring creeks and brown trout in skinny water can see you coming from a mile away.

I’m not sure I could find it but I watched a trapping video on YouTube once of a guy dispatching a coyote by hand... basically by cervical dislocation ... grabbed it by the snout and jerked straight back if I recall... it was pretty crazy, but I think I’d use your slate rock over trying that!
