Yep, I helped them get dead and left them lay to be picked up in the morning... and something carried one off...

this happened two different times...

actually the second time there were three down, two kits and a smallish sow, and one kit went missing and the sow was moved about 50 ft...

I was figuring it was our barred owl until the adult one was moved that far.

Hmm. Man last July I shot a skunk right outside the run wire. I left it lay til morning. Stinker was totally gone in the morning. I have no clue whether it was an owl or a canine.

Just because I’m really organized and everything has to be done a specific way does not mean I’m OCD!

I've got a total of 28 traps set, put some lights up and cameras. I'm no trapping expert the yank gives me his opinion (sometimes more than what's called for), but he's helpful more times than not.
