Is this the same guy you caught 3 times?
Actually no but I caught him again too. He done ran out of lives. He wasn’t in a cage.Is this the same guy you caught 3 times?
He’s been shooting a bow for the past 3 years just not a longbow. He’s already had that talking to! LolI might have been a couple of years older when I started, I’m not sure...
... but balloons, pie plates and fence lizards were never again safe... I killed more balloons and pie plates than fence lizards, but not for lack of trying!
Your boy looks smarter than me at that age, so he’d probably know better... but you might go ahead and remind him that when you send an arrow with the pointy end straight up, it’s that end that comes back down first... I almost poked a hole in brother before we figured that out![]()

When he started he liked to swing it all around while drawing it back. That little compound thing he was using has a #22 lb pull and this is #25. This bow isn’t a toy though and shoots pretty fast. It’ll stick in me and he’ll kill or hurt bad anything he shoots with it. He’s been told the chickens and cats are off limits.![]()
That was a fluke. I thought that was pretty cool to catch the arrow in flight like that. LolOh I forgot about his compound.... kids grow up backwards these days on so many things... they start with the stuff that had to work our way up to, and then move back to the ‘retro’ stuff we started with, lol
My first bow was a little yellow long bow.
Hey...I just noticed the arrow... nice shot!
