American Gamefowl

I just realized you all were saying the new cartoons are no good... somehow last night I thought you were dogging the old classics like Looney Tunes  ... obviously got confused...

In my defense, whilst I was trying to keep up with the quick fire, I was watching from the porch as our yard owl worked the yard for.... she landed just 15 ft from me at on point... I’m guessing she’s picking up voles...

And then a troop of 6 coons came through at one point too  ... dang varmints!
It was kinda late so we let it go. :gig
Definitely not the norm to let mistakes slide though.

No idea what that is, lol

I’m gonna have to assume you’re just making up words now ;)
Haha. Oh. It’s a massive mayfly! Instead of fishing size 14-18 dry flies to catch trout on streams with normal hatches (blue winged olives, light Cahill, sulfur, etc..) These Hexagenias are like a size 6-8. They are massive as far as mayflies go and big trout eat them.

Dang blasted varmints!

I was up from 4am yesterday till a little after 4am this morning stalking them varmints. Then someone had to Text me at 7ish asking how it went no remorse for these chicken killers nor fellow varmint killers apparently.

Give me the old cartoons forsure!

6-8s.... I like that!

Our local fly shop owner was talking about some ridiculously tiny hook size the other day...I forgot the number, 40 maybe... but he said they don’t even make it any more.... but he knew a guy that had several boxes... kinda lost on me I struggle with a 16 a lot of times
