Pet quality is kinda like junk since they haven’t quite added enough in to get the color or whatever they’re looking for.

I didn’t know how much Gamefowl go for. Again forgive my ignorance of the American Gamefowl.

I don’t care personally anyway but imo gamefowl are far more valuable for about 43 different reasons than any fad breed.

It has nothing to do with my birds. Lol it’s the fact that gamefowl are a far more resilient, regal, tough, pretty, smart yada yada yada than all other breeds. I’ve raised quite a few different kinds of chickens in the past so I can easily compare them.

ya I feed my free rangers... they stick around waiting for feed.

I got one of my best broodcocks for $10... and all my originals from a very reputable breeder/gallero (my old neighbor) for free. Price isnt everything, and actually means very little IMO.

I thought maybe he would sell me one as “pet quality” kind of like how those who breed chickens for showing sell their culls as pet quality birds for a reduced price.

The thing is, game bred birds are specifically bred over and over for certain traits.... owners will not want their line going over to someone else who can use it! Like with my champion Thai hybrid fighter..... I will not give away the genes to someone who can then exploit it! Champion, I says! Hate me! Hahaha.
