I hear they are real greasy.
Friend of the dh does lots of trappin and skinnin. .he's brags about that coon grease keepin his hands soft. :sick
It’s so nasty and has a chemical smell. I’ve skinned so many I don’t even wanna think about it. Ugh. I’d rather skin anything else *except a skunk.
 
Oh speaking of trapping. “Cinnamon” was violated in the woods. I found her laying on her side all fired up in the leaves.
Gonna have to figure out where I went wrong.

I think you know where you went wrong... no ‘lectric fence rod ...

You wanna catch fur and protect the birds you can’t be winging it with pink traps and no fiberglass... rookie :rolleyes:

Uhhh ... not sure what you been sniffen... but our coon just smell like coons...

... heck I used to skin a couple for my dad to eat each year after Christmas ... not my favorite thing, but our wilderness coons are probably better for ya than grocery store chicken :idunno

I can sniff out a wild animal like a coonhound. :cool:
They do not smell good. I’ll take a mink with busted scent glands any day.
