The raccoon smell just gets caught in your nose for awhile. I don’t like it. Castor has a cinnamon like smell to it not the beaver itself. Lol

Castor is smoky and pine tar.. coons are greasy and smell like ... well like raccoons...

Backbreaker or timber doesn’t have a cinnamon like smell to you? If not you need your sniffer tested.

Nope... and my buddy and I have had this “what’s castor smell like” conversation before...

But his nose is bigger than mine, but I smell better, lol

I’ll have to try and remember to see if my wife picks up cinnamon from castor tomorrow... she’s gotta better sniffer than me

I actually can smell mink sometimes on a stream. It’s weird the mink smell doesn’t bother me and is really strong.
I’m also pretty good at pinpointing a pile of dog crap.

I suppose it's gonna pour the rain all day again here it's cooled down and all but kinda worrisome with these young birds. I've got 3 opened pens if the shtf I guess I'll do what I got to.

It’s 67°F with some drizzling here. Chickens seem to be happy that it’s almost 40 degrees cooler than Sunday and Monday.
