Yeah it poured earlier and then some thunderstorms just a little while ago. They were supposed to be pretty bad but they weren’t at all. I’m not complaining even though I spent 2.5 hrs staking all 46 dome pens.

Lol more than likely I'd just carry the water hose around.

My legs were wobbly from crouching down like a Vietcong twice at each pen to pound in stakes and then to screw them all down. At least they’re done now. Only 5 months late. I’m tired of standing out in the storms catching pens as they blow around. I’m gonna get struck by lightening one of these days doing that.

I wouldn’t use them in winter time anyway so it’s not that big of a deal.

I’m not leaving a bird on a cord with -10 windchills. I just can’t do it. Not to mention you run the risk of them getting frostbite on their feet.
