My entire yard flooded and I had water right up to my back door. Yes all the chickens were wet. None drowned and all lived to see another day.

I bet the ducks loved all that water.

That’s funny I was thinking the same thing. I need a walkway like that too. Chickens would just crap all over it though here.

I hate the walkway! It will eventually come out, even with trying to wash/scrub it, it gets really slippery when it's raining.

Ya. . wood is slippery when wet for sure.
I almost busted my butt coming down the deck steps the other day when it was raining. I have some of those slogger shoes for duck chores. Bad combination. I had the baby duck in one hand and a food dish in the other. I dropped the food dish catching myself.

Oh, I've busted my rear on that sidewalk a couple of times! I walk on the side or go around and climb over the e-fence. I have gravel from the deck to the gate and it's much better, so maybe I'll do that instead. (someday!) LOL

I have some Sloggers too! Of course they have chickens on them
