American Gamefowl

I’ve been using a fly rod for a long time and I still turn loose a ridiculous cast every now and then. From the canoe sometimes I’ll smack the water behind me too. No big deal. It’s definitely annoying when you hang one in the trees across the river.

I must say I'm pretty much an expert at it not to boast or anything.

The way it usually works is you’ll see trout rising but they won’t eat what you’re throwing. You change flies but have a hard time doing it. Dropping the fly, messing up the knot etc. Once you actually get the fly tied on the fish have stopped rising and your first cast gets caught in the trees behind you on the back cast. :gig

Thats so cool you have history back east... You ever go metal detecting?

No sure don't I was tending to traps and when we got that hail an flooding it laid down tons of vegetation I'm guessing it washed up or down some things that we're just under the surface and brush.
We have buried coins for the kids to find here and there at the in laws before. They enjoyed it, I don't think it's for me though.
