American Gamefowl

More of a surprise. That’s a RQ x Mug chick. The mug hen had 4 eggs in the crate but over the past few weeks she broke 3 of them and was never on the remaining egg when I went to feed and water. I never once saw her on the egg but I did know it was there. I just figured I would toss the egg when I clean up their pens once they’re done molting.
Is the mug spurred? I am surprised the egg hatched too.

The solid black hen in 1st and 3rd pic is my mini, she's the mother of the three stags and the darker pullet. Father is standard leiper. The black hen is a couple years old the rest will be 7 months next week. This year's pullets started laying this week

A lot of assumptions...
I’d love to know where these people come up with using a layer for “training”. The whole thing doesn’t even make sense. That’s the equivalent of a pro boxer beating the hell out of a 3rd grader. Apparently no one can think for themselves anymore. They just repeat whatever they hear.

I wish I had a video... The birds have been a little on edge with the coopers hawks coming around. This morning was nice and cool and everyone was happy to get out. A young pullet flew across the yard, a couple feet off the ground. It flew right over a young black pullet, I hatched from Havoc. The black pullet jumped and flipped in the air to attempt a kick on the pullet.
