We bought some "snares" a while back. . I will have to investigate if they are snares or cable restraint devices

Legally You may have to take class to use snares/cable restraints. I know you don’t need a regular trapping class.
I do think trapping courses should be mandatory though.

It used to be mandatory here in Missouri . .but it is not anymore.
I would like to take one though anyway. We were just talking about doing that.

I’m going to a small trapping convention type deal tomorrow morning to pick up some stuff.

Apparently Brahma was all talk. No hunter/trapper Ed class and tomorrow he could pick up the supplies he’ll need.

Probably won't be using cables right now anyway.. Just learning for future reference. "Trappers are no longer required to complete a cable-restraint training course"
