I’ll be trapping beaver this year so I’ll do some testing. I’m gonna pick up some timber and I wanna try the skunky backbreaker.
And since I have a Hudson Bay pattern axe now I’ll have to take some pictures of me actually using it to chop off some feets instead of lopers.
Now that I think about it thats probably how I keep ruining my fiskars lopers.

When you go to one of those trapping shows/conventions do they let you sniff the lures?

I might would go if I could just stand around and sample the stink ... I don’t think they have anything like that around here though

I suppose you could but I’m not sure. They might get a little pissed if you go cracking open the predator lures. Lol
There was some pure skunk quill I almost bought just for giggles but decided I better not.

Sharpening axes and seasoning pans. Only cut myself once and burnt myself twice. I’m doing pretty good so far.

I think loppers are just made to break, I’ve gone through several over the years...

You need to find yourself a proper feets removal device

This was the only thing I could find just Google searching. . .of course that date has passed .. And that's like 3 hours from me. But might be something to look for next year. . I'll have to keep an eye out for upcoming events.
