If she really wants one make it live outside.

That’s the problem I don’t really want one inside, but if I turn it loose outside it’s going to murder all my chipmunks... although their numbers are getting pretty high so the cat might help

Pretty much minus a few bad things my mom had a Maltese that lived to 19yrs old.

I’ve got a house cat too. What’s the big deal? He don’t cause any issues?

1. They hack up hair balls.
2. They are way harder to keep fleas off of.
3. If you have to have a litter box they track litter all over everywhere. .it even gets in my bed.
4. Their hair flys through the air and sticks to everything like none other. Way worse than dog hair.
5. They will get up on every surface in the house.
6. They go nuts running around at night and pounce on your face.
7. They learn how to open the bathroom door while your on the pot.
8. They harass your dogs
9. They trip you on the stairs
10. They can be bad about spraying urine to mark territory. . mine doesn't he is fixed. .
But even my female fixed cat sprayed a time or two. She would also get under the covers and poop in the bed if her litter box was not cleaned up to her standards.
