Our local cop thought at 140 the hubbys car was a ufo. . :lau car just like this one. . ran many times. never caught him.

...If they have to whip around and your already booking it ya might as well keep it hammered but if they sneak up on ya and ya hammer it your in for a good one.

My first ‘car’ was old farm truck so out running was never an option...

... but I remember on two occasions ducking down a road on the left and having to run back roads all the way home...

Years later I read that cops are trained that statistically something like 90% of people take the first right they come to...

I only took lefts in both cases because I knew the back roads running south by heart and didn’t know the roads running north very well... just dumb luck
 
Oh hell . .you can't get away with nothin now a days anyway.

I still raise kane don't think I don't theirs a reason my boy smiles ear to ear when the smoke starts rolling I just ain't blasting down the road at 140 these days.

On my old fox body I even had a big sticker that said burnouts for Jesus.
 
I never really thought about the adrenaline kicking in like that, lol

It certainly will but if ya run for over an hour it sorta goes away. I'm lucky to be telling this story really at that age these curves and that not so safe car yep I should be counting my blessings.
