I was talking to my friends dad who’s in his 70s at the gas station here a while back and we saw this guy in skinny jeans with a lumber jack beard walk by, and he said “when did all the pretty boys decide to look like the Taliban”

Can’t help there. I don’t have a beard. As hillfolk rudely noted before I barely have any hair on my legs or arms either. I’m like a school girl.

At least within the half hour, I read a review or two first just make sure havoc knew what’s what ...

I was surprised it came today ... our 2 day delivery is generally actually 3 day...

Mine usually gets here within 3 days.
Except. . the puppy pen. I ordered it on a Tues. Or Wed. I don't remember. .But it was supposed to arrive on Friday. Just in time. .
I got a text from Amazon on Friday saying that the USPS had attempted a delivery and had an issue.
Never had that happen before. it said they would try again.
At 3 o'clock when it still wasn't here I started making phone calls.
After talking to about 5 different people I finally found out that it was at the PO in the next town over. They said it was too big to get in their car and if I wanted it that day I would have to come get it. isn't that a crock of you know what when I pay for prime shipping? They said that had been happening a lot lately. . they were getting Amazon stuff dropped there and they don't always have someone with a vehicle that can haul it.

Oh yeah it’s lighter than a Pendleton I’m sure but it also ain’t $300 and if you fall into the fire after a night of getting sh*tty it isn’t a huge loss. I asked my son if he thought the blanket was itchy and he said no and he had it wrapped all around him And touching his face. The actual GI blankets are itchy as hell.

I used to have one almost exactly like that stole it from my bf "back in the day". .plaid was smaller though.

Another thing I refuse to buy is a yeti cooler. I know they’re good but man that’s expensive for a damn cooler. I did notice my 20 yr old igloo cooler has a bunch of cracks in it.

I have a friend that’s a brick hodder, he takes a cooler to work every day and has super insulated Walmart brand cooler ... Ozark Trail? I think ... he went from buying ice every day to once or twice a week ... so he figured that paid for the cooler. It cost more than a standard cooler but far less than a yeti

It’s a plastic one but I remember it being kinda expensive when I got it. It worked out well. It kept all my food from freezing solid since it was way colder outside.
