I love the reviews. “We don’t eat GMO! Pushing this on our kids!” Omg! What a bunch of nutbags.
The candy sucks. It sucked when I was little and I’m pretty sure it still sucks. It’s tradition though. People are crazy.
We have a lot of elderly people here, so....I think I see this in the grocery store year round :D Yes, it is not good LOL But my Grandma always seemed to have a can around. I never saw her eat any though, she dipped snuff instead of eating candy, even in church. She had a little itty bitty can that was for carrying to church and the grocery. I still have it.

Oh boy...I think I may have missed a few things, but I have a feeling I may not want to know too :gig

My family doesn't really do gifts that much. Maybe someone gives out some nuts or candy. One year we decided everyone bring some type of "gift", then you draw numbers, ya'll know the "game", someone chooses a gift, but the next person can "steal it".
Well, my Dad is old and didn't really understand the game. He opened a present and it was a step ladder. Well, my DH "stole" the ladder. My Dad does not get mad over things much at all, but he got quite upset that somebody got that ladder. Last time we ever played that game:lau

People expect everything to match their perfect little fairy tale lives it don't matter if something has been made the exact same way for 200years. Today everyone thinks they are entitled to be in everyone's business.

I’m not sure what’s worse the fact that someone is so damn worried about GMOs or that I was reading old fashioned candy reviews on Amazon.

The first part heck I read reviews on shit I don't or won't ever buy just stumble on so ain't no different than me.

You suck on them. There’s chocolate on the inside of a thin candy shell. Lol

It just clicked what these are... I didn’t know they were called ‘straws’ or even had a name for that matter

I don’t recall them being very common and only had them a couple times... I actually kinda liked them though

@shawluvsbirds they look like this, not a full long straw...

this jog your memory?

A step ladder is a good gift for that game, I’d been upset too ;)

I liked the old ladies that dipped snuff... I knew a girl in high school that would bum a pinch of Copenhagen from me from tine to time... somehow that seemed different :hmm

I remember a couple old ladies that smoked a pipe too... that seemed really strange then, not sure why now

I spend an absurd amount of time reading reviews on things I'm not buying

People are too freaking stupid and funny. I might be easily entertained.
