So my boss lady was going to give me a ride to work this morning. .
Text and Said she'd be there in a minute. So. I stood outside for 10 minutes waiting on her.
I could've walked here and back by that time and would've been warmer than just standing there.
10 whole minutes!!!! Is it just me or does 10 min not seem like a long time? :gig

It's not a long time. But It would've taken less time to walk. So it was just kinda funny. She forgot which street I live on . .
Even though she's been there a bunch of times.:lau
And I thought I was directionally challenged.

Considering how slick this road looks today though. .my luck I would've slipped and fallen in the dark. So probably a good thing I waited for her :lau

Oh yeah! You would have busted it good on that :gig

This was several years ago, I worked in town, the roads were really icy. Where I worked employees parked down a hill. I got parked and heard my managers voice, asking for help. Her car was there, but I couldn't see her. I asked, where are you!! She was under her car:hmm She slid on that hill and right under her car and was stuck! It took me and another girl slipping and sliding to finally drag her out of there. :lau

Here’s my drive at the moment... it’s a little slickery for sure...

We don’t have cops or salt trucks out here, and I’m too lazy to blade it, lol

Should melt off tomorrow

When it snows mine looks the same no matter how deep it gets. Nothing gets shoveled around here except for the deck. That’s what waterproof boots are for. Ain’t like the plow trucks take care of my gravel driveway. Lol

Your town should probably get rid of a few cops and employ a few salt trucks.
We don't have either. :gig
Just county cops.
The highway I slid off of Monday was just right outside town. Usually they do salt it. But I guess they hadn't done it yet.
I needed to get a few things from the Dollar General in the next town over and figured the road would be worse for the next couple days than it was right then. .
This is what I get for being a procrastinator. I should've done it over the weekend. :th
