American Gamefowl

We don't have either. :gig
Just county cops.
The highway I slid off of Monday was just right outside town. Usually they do salt it. But I guess they hadn't done it yet.
I needed to get a few things from the Dollar General in the next town over and figured the road would be worse for the next couple days than it was right then. .
This is what I get for being a procrastinator. I should've done it over the weekend. :th

We live between three towns, and when we go out our normal way the state road becomes more treacherous the closer to the one town we get ...

That looks slicker than snot on a doorknob.

It was pretty dang slick...

I had this “paw pal” stuff from about three years ago still unopened... so I sprinkled some of it on some of it just to see if it works... and just to get the melt water to drain before freezing up again tonight...

I’m guessing it’s beet juice based or something... but it smells like stinky feet... maybe just because it’s old... I only bought it because the gettin place was sold out of the regular non-corrosive stuff that day, but never used it

When it snows mine looks the same no matter how deep it gets. Nothing gets shoveled around here except for the deck. That’s what waterproof boots are for. Ain’t like the plow trucks take care of my gravel driveway. Lol

I shovel the sidewalks, mostly in case Rita the mail lady wants to bring me a package...

Mostly we rely on 4 wheel drive to get us up the drive... but I’ll blade it if it’s slick and going to stay below freezing for long...

most times we don’t have stuff stick around too long though ( I just angered the snow gods by saying that though )

We only have a little bit of side walk, mostly going from the front porch to the drive way

We’re in the middle of adding a garage to this old house so soon there will be more sidewalk and a concrete apron in front of the garage doors that might need shoveling

Not to brag or anything.. But it is sunny and 50 degrees outside here in the Midwest! :celebrate
Good for you!
It's 48 and sunny here. Thank goodness the wind died down a bit, that's what I dread so much.
