Ha! I’ve never used CDs so I shouldn’t really knock it... I usually use good old fashioned feathers...

I did buy some purple feather boa type thing I found cheap at hobby lobby one year and used pieces of it as flagging ...

and then I stopped by a friend’s parents farm to help them with something... reached into my pocket to give them back their keys and out came a length of purple boa

I just laughed and said “that’s gonna be hard to explain” and left if at that, lol
